GOLD

At present the Company has JORC classified gold resources on the West Rand after completing evaluations in respect to approximately 50% of the tailings materials located there. Evaluation is underway in regard to potential gold resources located on the East Rand.

The Company's independent consultants estimated the Company held the rights to process and extract gold from approximately 305 million tonnes of tailings materials located on the West Rand. Approximately half of this material (145 mt) has been drilled and sampled for gold and has been defined as a measured, indicated or inferred resource under the JORC code.

A resources study undertaken by Camden Geoserve CC in October 2007 defined the following resources in terms of the JORC Code:
